Shredded carrots in coleslaws, salads, or wraps. Add carrots to baked goods, such as cakes and muffins. Raw carrot sticks or baby carrots as a snack. Add carrots to juices and smoothies for a naturally sweet, mild flavor. Great in soups, stews.

Freeze damage in fresh carrots will appear as darkened translucent or water-soaked areas which will deteriorate rapidly after thawing.
